Tuscany Beaches in Elba Island

A beautiful beach in Elba and houses overlooking the blue waters.

Among Tuscany beaches, it is in Elba that you will find the most diverse and the most numerous - scattered yet close to each other, sometimes just separated by a boulder or a cliff.

Whether one likes a sand or gravel beach, one thing that Elba beaches have in common is its beauty and the clear water that is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, diving and getting a tan. For those who just want to hear the lapping of the waves, you will find your own private nook here.

Elba Beaches If one were lucky to spend at least four days in the island, a visit to two or three beaches would be easy. To visit even just half of the beaches (almost 70 by my last count) would take more than the time you have for a holiday in Elba.

Portoferraio is you first stop if you are arriving by boat from the mainland. After visiting the beaches in Portoferraio, you can choose between going east or west of the city where beaches that are more beautiful await you.

This way to Tuscany beaches in Eastern Elba . . .

and to Western Elba..
