Rome Cooking Tour
Art, history, traffic, and the crowd. This is the regular Rome tour.
What about a tour combining art, history, food, and excitement in the center of Rome? Add to that the fact that you will be cooking your own Italian meal, and the ordinary Rome tour becomes a memorable lifetime experience.

A Rome cooking tour is a variation of the predictable tours that most visitors to Rome experience. It is six-days of pure enjoyment starting with your arrival at the Ciampino or Fiumicino Airport (if coming by plane) or the Central Train Station (if coming by train). No car rentals to think of, or no asking for directions as a private driver will meet you there and take you to one of the most elegant hotels in Rome - the Duke Hotel where our tour director Diane De Filipi will personally welcome you. The rest of the experience is listed below:
- An afternoon tea or cocktails at the Polo Lounge of the Duke Hotel. Enjoy soothing music to relax your senses after a long day of traveling.
-
Dinner with your group at one of Rome's finest restaurants, - the I Duchi.

From day two to day five you will be tutored by Maestro Chef Luca in four unique 2-hour classes which begin at 11:00 a.m. This schedule will give you ample time to enjoy a hearty breakfast with your companion or the rest of your group.

After each cooking class, you will enjoy your own creations at the dining room of I Duchi in a 3-course lunch paired with selected wines that complement each course.
After lunch everyday, you will be free to discover Rome based on your own Rome tour itinerary. Though Rome cannot be fully enjoyed in a week or even a lifetime, the experience of this visit will be like stolen moments in this brief love affair with this magnificent Italian city.
A complimentary hourly round trip shuttle is available to take you to the conveniently located and romantic Spanish Steps to make your tryst with Rome less tiresome.
As Rome is best enjoyed on foot, don't forget to wear a comfortable pair of walking shoes.
Day 6 is "sweet doing nothing day", if you wish. You might want to check out the boutiques at Castel Romano for some really nice souvenirs.
In the evening of the sixth day, have dinner with Diane De Filipi and the rest of the group.
In the morning, it is arrivederci Roma, as your Rome cooking tour ends, and your private driver takes you to the airport or the train station for your next travel destination.
