Camping in Elba

Camping in Elba is where the real fun is - a vacation that the kids can enjoy.

If you are a person who loves the open outdoors, spending your Elba holiday in a campsite is the best way to spend that long-promised break from your daily grind.
A campsite offers a lot of flexibility for vacationers, and a relaxed atmosphere in a natural surrounding.

Camping also is the best way to stretch you vacation budget as the rates are so low that the cost of staying in a campsite for two weeks is equivalent for what you will be paying for one day in most luxury hotels. The savings are substantial if you are staying only for a day or two.

The trade-off of course, is that you will lose a little privacy, but if a fun vacation is what you are looking for, a vacation in one of these camps is guaranteed to bring lots of it.

Locations of Campsites in Elba

The campsites that I really like are the ones located in Capoliveri - Casa de Prati is one of them, and the other one is Calanchiole.

Both these campsites have complete clean facilities for families and for those wanting to have four solid walls separating them from nature, apartments are available for rent in these sites.

The other campsites are located in Acquaviva, La Sorgente, Lacona Pineta, Scaglieri, and Lacona.

Another favorite is located in Barbarrosa one kilometer from Porto Azurro.

There are a lot more campsites in the island, and one of those might be best suited for your taste, but if you are thinking of camping in Elba, you can't go wrong with these beach camps.
